The beta zoom feature is great. The picture is great and the app is easy to use. The app is not as good as the nest app, but probably better than the google app as far as ui and ease of use.

Cons

Cameras can't read the barcode from your phone. Wyze support is non existent. Troubleshooting does no good either. This one is the only one that gives me connectivity issues.

The light is mediocre and doesn’t illuminate anything more than 4ft away. The app is not user friendly and toggling between the cameras to find a video you hope may have recorded is a pain the a$$. Basically 20 ft.

The omission of the water-resistant cable is a letdown, considering the higher price tag. It's a pity as they are very good (especially for the price) when they work. There's a reason this brand is cheap. Save your money and get the regular v3.

For me, no. This camera is garbage. This is dumb.

Is it worth the upgrade? As others have noted, the constant nags to upgrade to paid service is completely over-the-top with this camera. Their policy for needing a cloud subscription makes those improvements moot.

For this price i would think there's an area they would be lacking in but thus far i have yet to find anything wrong!

Especially not for the price, heck you can't get most cameras under a certain dollar amount anymore.

Bought it for the price and honestly.

It’s not a high end camera but it’s a clear picture for a cheap price.

Competitiveness

So i’d say this camera is as good or better than a nest cam as far as picture quality.

The 2k is very nice and provides much more detail and clarity compared to my nest and google cams which are 1080.

The app is not as good as the nest app, but probably better than the google app as far as ui and ease of use.
