I wanted this not so much for the home security although thats a nice function too but because i wanted to use the temperature sensors to turn a space heater on or off in my computer room at a pre determined temp

There is a promotion going at the moment giving discounts on sensors and a free hub if you purchase the one year monitoring the discounts and the free hub made it a good deal to just pay for monitor but i doubt ill ever turn it on and use it

You are not forced to use monitoring the system will send notifications to your phone even without an active monitoring plan

On my sliding updown windows it wasnt too bad and so far it works right but i cannot get my entry doors to work right it seems to be working when in installation mode and the light blinks when the door opens but the app always shows the door as open or closed its not detecting properly

But the instructions are not good enough for most people who are not savvy with security systems to setup themselves
