Pros

Super bright, easy to install, pairs with wyze color bulbs nicely. It provides soft lighting that makes things visible in the kitchen at night without needing to turn on the overhead lighting. Good basic capability and some interesting advanced featur... Read More

The wyze app is one of the best apps to use for smart home and iot of you are a lovey of wyze things! The mic picks up great audio for the ambient sound/music mode. Doesn't require a hub or direct bluetooth connection and integrates with alexa.

Light is well balanced with no hot spots and the * (glue on board) coating is excellent. I do feel they could upgrade the adhesive backing or include a glue of some kind.

Cons

Wyze does a horrible job of producing natural light reproduction to mimic a regular white bulb. But we could not get soft pinks or light purples.

The app is slow and buggy as well. Every week it freezes on opening which results in it getting stuck at the loading screen until you manually go in and clear the data from the app.

We have several wyze products and have liked the quality of them all.

They were easy to install and sync easily with the app.

You would think they would have it go with the beat/bass but it’s all over the place.

Also, i have some of the color bulbs from wyze and there seems to be a limit to how many bulbs can be synced with the music mode.

Price

For the price, i can't complain too much.

Competitiveness

I'm a little biased because i enjoy wyze products but this strip is easy to set up and use out of the box.

I purchase many wyze products never dissapoints

This isn't a direct competitor to hue, though you wouldn't expect that for a much cheaper price.
