It lock on its own and it saves so much time. The calibration for open/close door is spot on. The only hiccup is the unlock function when you approach the door for the outside.

The app connects to the lock whether i'm 5 feet or 500 miles away. I get notification through the amazon app when the batteries are low on any of my wyze devices.

First time you try to use alexa suddenly the device is unresponsive. Poor functionality and performance of the app in the control and monitoring of the lock operation. Customer service is whack and takes days to respond.

There are these flimsy sheet metal rings in the adaptor unit. It's laughably easy to bend and misshape them as you install the unit. The location circle is way too big, and pretty much a * design flaw on wyze's part.
