Pros

Super easy install and the device looks great. The controller is not heavy but the power adapter is. Need to find a outlet to plug it in safely.

The app lets you label the zones with friendly names, as opposed to the standard zone 1. It also has a soak feature where it will turn a zone on for a set amount of time, and then go onto the next zone. Loved the stickers provided for each zone.

The app is great. The features are endless. I'd just like to see some app improvements that simplify manual processes.

Couldn't be simpler. Programming is easy. It's all doable, but takes more effort than should be necessary. Just in case.

Cons

Nonexistent. Tried it again manually with the same result. Then manually tried the system again. Tech support are not much help either and will just ask you to do some standard things before they stop responding to your queries.

Once locked it is unlikely this will ever leak even in direct rain.

I don’t write many reviews, but for the $60 price vs others at $150+, i’m definitely pleased, though i’ve only used for few weeks so far.

This is my first waze product and it’s just incredible for the $.

After one year it will be about $10/yr per controller.

I only sprinkle one zone and this saved me over $50/month on my water bill, paid for itself!

Competitiveness

Overall recommended, especially for the price vs competitors/main brands.

Since the algorithms seem to work much better than rachio's and my lawn, as a result, looks better, i think i am happy to pay that.
