Pros

Crystal clear undistorted camera. It's kinda like apple vs android, the apple is easy to use but with less features. The android has more control and features but isn't as easy/intuitive.

I can better control the size/area of the notification zones for motion. It allows me to view everything the camera sees without having to go to the cloud. Works great with app that services the thermostats and cameras around the house too.

This gives you everything you ever wanted an a portion of the price. Ordered this on sale and was happy to get it. Purchased for my elderly parents.

Cons

The wi-fi circuitry on video doorbell v2 is much better. It is not an upgrade for wyze doorbell v1 users because it does not work with the wyze chime.

Picture quality is great and the ease of downloading a video when i need it is fantastic.

Much cheaper but quality is great and it does its job!

That said there may be a way to get the bell to ring along with the chime.

I only swapped out with the wyze one so i could use one app to control everything since i have lots of other wyze devices.
