Pros

The wyze subscription is cheap and worthwhile. Overall i’m happy with it and it delivers what you want especially coming in at a price point significantly lower than competitors. Similar capabilities and subscription as ring.

Mobile notifications are instantaneous, no delays so far. Seamless connectivity to the mobile app and quick notifications - no delays. Wyze is also compatible with alexa; connecting it was fast and easy.

Cons

The wyze app is what lead me to the google play store to enter the one-year subscription, nut it would not refund it. Advise all to stay away from this product and the wyze company.

If you navigate away from the chat in app, which you have to do sometimes to follow the customer service rep's instructions, it disconnects you. It's the fault of the app design, not so much customer service reps.

Micro-usb, not usb-c would not reconnect.

Clear video easy to understand instruction easy installation

My first unit setup fine and ran for a number of months before the battery needed charging and then refused to charge.

It does not have a micro sd card slot, fyi like many other cameras do, so it requires cloud and subscription.

Price

For less than $80, it's a great buy!

Didn't like that my phone was constantly beeping, the value for the money is spot on and i know a lot of people like these.

I think paying $13/mo for the wyze app is also a fair price.

This was not an inexpensive purchase so i wish i could feel more positive about this.

Shipping

The battery arrived at 25% charge so that is worrisome and an inconvenience.

Packaging/appearance

Product arrived with box open and bits missing.

Except that i was missing the wedge kit that is supposed to come in the box.

Competitiveness

I have many other wyze cameras and camplus unlimited subscription, so switching from ring saved me money.
