It does clearly advise to have an electrician install

So even though i granted myself success in the electrician apprenticeship program with my last light fixture installation i am going to wait for an electrician to install

No flickering under use and didnt use it with a dimmer switch either they can cause premature failures with canopy lights not rated for dimmer use

The leds are behind the smoked glass and the unit needs to be hard wired braided wires come out of the light
