Pros

Many of the colors are quite bright. All the other colors show up brightly. It looks great at nite.

Great deal for the money, rather than brick and mortar pool supply. Warranty is no joke.

Brightness is acceptable and as i expected (a bit less than incandescent on most colors, though the white setting is fairly bright). Just as bright as my old led's. Good brightness with all colors other than red.

The colors are nice and it was not hard to sync my lights that are on two switches together. Performing the power-cycling sequence to synchronize the two lights to the same color was easy. The color changing works but is a little cumbersome.

Considering what pool professionals quote for a light upgrade, it's a solid deal. Highly recommend led option.

Cons

Royal blue is quite dim; red is very dim (that's inevitable as water absorbs red light). Trouble is, changing colors is really finnicky.

There is no remote control, with the only control happening by flipping the light switch on/off.

Price

Led light works great and price is right.

You can't beat the price of these lights compared to pentair which cost ten times as much.

I got my pool light back for 30% of the cost my pool guy wanted to charge.

Competitiveness

Saving lots on power since i replaced a 400w incandescent bulb with this 40w led light.

This is a well-made lamp with plenty of color choices.
