The overall feel of this is that of a little nicelymade precision machine

The previous unit would just keep cutting until the led point broke off unlike the xacto which stops cutting when the point is perfect

They generally wouldnt last two months before they broke quit sharpening or the gears made loud grinding noises

Although they insist it is not true i believe my fellow counselors secretly covet this sharpener and probably wish they werent stuck using a noisy energy wasting electric sharpener

The things i dont like about it arent actually product defects so i wouldnt knock stars off for them

But beware if you have a 1 yo who knows how to climb and also likes to fiddle with the pencil sharpener you may find that you accidentally throw away the barrel that holds the shavings rendering the pencil sharpener useless
