Pros
The x-acto pencil sharpener is a winner! It perfectly sharpens my pencils every time and doesn’t eat half the pencil in doing so. Sharpens to a fine point.
Small enough to tuck away in a corner, too. Perfect cord length for on his desk.
Cons
Mechanism for sharpening wobbles, makes a horrible grinding noise, and grinds pencils into a dirty mess without sharpening them at all. Motor seems to work but the device won't sharpen. Took forever to sharpen one pencil.
This sharpener only works sporadically. It's very powelful when it works, to the point the cannister comes loose and spills. Not even used that often, just 2 teenagers.

If you let it get too full the shavings creep up over the reservoir and you’ll make a mess

If you do put a sheet of paper under the unit remove the reservoir and the paper catches the rest

I am a teacher and most pencil sharpeners either work well but are very loud or are quiet but arent powerful enough
