Pros

Sleek and compact. Better than their smaller, battery operated pencil sharpener.

A perfectly sharpened pencil in just a few seconds. It sharpens to a nice sharp point without over-sharpening. The sharpening is smooth and not ragged or off-center.

This sharpener is quieter than any other sharpener i've used. It is also quiet as electric sharpeners go. It has a relatively quiet motor and a very precise grinding mechanism. It's quieter than i expected and very easy to empty the shavings!

Comes apart real easy without a huge mess. Easy to clean and very powerful. Hand-crank sharpener can be easilyemptied.

It sharpens very quickly and effectively. Works well, quickly sharpens pencils, easy to plug in, and doesn't make too much noise. This one is better and eats a lot less wood to achieve the same results.

Cons

After cleared, the sharpener wobbles (out of balance or something) and now it neither sharpens to a point and the wobble causes it to eat pencils. It's only 20 bucks, so i'm willing to try again to see of it dying was operator error.

This pencil sharpener features a break resistance sharpener that will not over sharpen a pencil to the point where it breaks.

For the price point, this is great and for a pencil addict like me, i am very happy.

The amount of money this pencil sharpener save on batteries is worth the cost of the product alone.

The price point maybe a bit higher than some, but i feel it is worth it.

I was going to buy it at a local craft store but it was much cheaper on amazon.
