It sharpens great and holds up well! It is fast, sharpens to a good point, and doesn't eat pencils like my old one did! This new one is very quiet and fully sharpens in a second or two.
I rarely write reviews but when you get this excited, you have to! Had it for 2 weeks so far, so good. It is glorious! This is amazing.
I homeschool, and my kids looooove art. I teach over a hundred middle schoolers and this sharpener has lasted 6 months so far with daily use. If you homeschool or cyber school, or you or your kids just love art, this is a great thing to have on hand.
Cons
The pencil shavings tray opens when in use, and automatically shuts the sharpener off. The supposed alignment assistance is laughable, and i suspect the failure of the automatic stop functionality is at least partly due to improper alignment.
The function only works 3 out of 40+ pencils i have sharpened so far. Students are not allowed to sharpen colored pencils only regular #2 pencils. The shavings cup doesn't remain in place while sharpening.

The motor is just completely burnt out.
Received this sharpener as a teacher gift and it is a great sharpener, but it stopped working today after having it for 7 months.
Price
At around $30 this is a great deal.
I bought this with my own money and am satisfied with the value.
Would love another one at a discount please somebody contact me.
It's definitely pricey, but so far (i've had it a month and a half, maybe two months.

I bought this sharpener to replace another one from a different brand that had broken.
Overall pleased, but i was expecting nothing less from the brand.

It is a little tricky to empty and shake out the shavings wish i could improve that part but students don’t mind
