Pros

This pencil sharpener does the trick, with dependability. It sharpens pencils way faster than my old one did. It also sharpens colored pencils well which is why i chose it.

Cons

One side sharpens beautifully, the other side still only sharpens on one side. Maybe sharpened 200 pencils before breaking. Motor makes a noise but doesn't rotate to sharpen. No power to the sharpener.

User manual * and written by 5th grader. It's very frustrating to use. With kids it creates a huge mess.

The sharpener is very finicky about how the pencil enters the sharpener. The shavings tray pops out so you have to hold it in place while sharpening. It stalls every third pencil and is somehow clogged in the sharpening mechanism.

The insurance is monthly for $17 until you cancel it. I was fooled by the super high ratings, didn't read the return policy. Did a return, asked for a refund. Will not buy again.

No they were not thinking, when they squirted it full of hand sanitizer about a month after i purchased it.

The catch tray keeps sliding out and it won't run when it does that.

This sharpener was a great buy , used it a lot for at least 8 years and was a decent price .

It took buying a low quality pencil sharpener for about the same price for me to appreciate a quality sharpener (like this one).
