If you were using boston for your pencil sharpeners, this is the same quality product.
No issues with the dreaded wood-creep on one side of the pencil has yet to occur.
Sharpener works great, however, it doesn't stay suctioned between uses.
In fact, i haven't had such quality sharpening since i stopped the manual sharpeners decades (yes, decades) ago.
Price
Again, i sharpen a lot of pencils, so the cost associated with replacing it is no problem.

The hand held sharpeners dont seem to work well for getting the colored pencils sharp due to them breaking in the sharpener

Our electric took forever to sharpen and wood would be at the edge making it hard to write

The suction needs to be reestablished each time the sharpener is used but to expect it to last indefinitely would be unrealistic
