The fiskars surecut trimmers are decent budget choices but the edges of the cuts curl slightly as the blades dull and they dull somewhat quickly which is aggravating

I tried a swingline guillotinerotary combo trimmer and it was a nightmare where the cut would exactly line up was all guesswork and ruined a several pieces of my laminated printed cardstock before i gave up and sent it back

First the blade does not stay all the way up you have to hold it up when positioning your subject at the far end of the blade

Secondly the paper stop may may be ever so slightly crooked

In any case the fiskars trimmers never cut perfectly straight so im still coming out way ahead
