There is a good amount of headroom for taller creations. The space between the cupcakes is adequate for most frosting. There's no risk of them falling out unless you're tipping them over.

The only issue is that they are fairly bulky. I usually need to send in 3 boxes each time to feed the whole class, and that gets bulky for my children to carry. Yes i know that is less sustainable, but we are dealing with teenagers.
