Pros

Low-battery warning ensures that we are always aware when it's time for a replacement. Easy to install and no battery issues.

Installation is easy in drywall because the screws hold very well without drilling for anchors. The device comes with clear instructions, making setup straightforward for anyone, regardless of their diy skills.

Only complaint is the plates don’t fit the footprint of the smoke detectors i replaced. These are so well made it's hard to believe.

Cons

Tried pressing the'silence'button on the unit and nothing. This is only supposed to happen one time on initial activation. The only option is to deactivate it which means you can never use it again. Would not recommend.
