It is not fully waterproof the detecting end is the speaker surround isnt

Tested seems to detect well although battery compartment screw cap was partly threaded so may come off after a fair bit of use

If every your out up the mountains of wales and see some naked men with their detectors out fully extended dont panic its not some perverts or a nutters day out from the centre its real men getting back to nature
