Pros

You just use the bracket that holds the detector to the wall or ceiling as a template. Drywall anchors hold real well. Great unit for two causes of serious death or harm, hazardous smoke and carbon monoxide.

Replaced 5 old smoke detectors with these new lithium-battery units. Replaced a 3 month old “10 year’ wireless detector that hummed, went off for no reason. Hope it lasts 10 years.

Cons

Buyer beware, as i really doubt that it will render 10 years. Highly dissatisfied.
