The product description states the base station is required but in the instructions it says you can and how to pair with their other rf capable products

You just don’t have an app with the notification of which alarm was initially triggered

With alarms that aren’t in the app it won’t provide the value of being able to remotely silence them

If pairing to other alarms that don’t have the pairing button on the back but have the activation button pressed by its mount enter those into pairing mode and take this one around to pair with them

The trial button is very loud so it would be very easy to recognize in a real situation
