Pros
Alarm is loud and effective. Good price for a good item. Twin-pack of 2 so great for upstairs and down.
The x-sense has a 10 year built in lithium battery. Has taken all the worry out of replacing the battery every few months. Here is hoping that it can be recycled as plastic has become a major problem worldwide.
It has a test button and led indicator that should indicate a malfunction or low battery. There's an led that flashes periodically to let you know it's working.
Good smoke detectors and my view is every house should have them. Tho many people overlook this detail. A really cheap way of improving home safety.
Cons
In order to change the transmitter battery it involve cutting through the label on the back and forcing the insert out of the housing. Next time will buy from argos.

These smoke detectors are an absolute doddle to install it’s just a case of screwing on the base plate and then twisting the front part on

For some reason one of the units went off at 2pm in the more doors was closed in a 1 bed room flat no cooking i don’t smoke so no reason togo off
