Quality
We are very happy with this product.
Each detector has full approval with the ul standard, comes with mounting screws and anchors and couldn't be simpler.
Having a rechargeable battery system combined with the hardwired feature would be perfect but i'm not sure this actually exists.
Overall, these are a good choice for replacement smoke detectors but at around $44 for the 3-pack, they are not the cheapest.

The instruction manual makes no reference to these parts and they are not strictly necessary but will render the detector somewhat tamper proof if installed
