Pros
Only issue is that i goes off when i have a shower from this steam. Very reassuring. Thankfully thinking outside the box has resulted in a solution.
Cons
The battery is not replaceable. Claims a 10-year battery life but this one expired after 4. Less than 1 year after fitting.
This is rubbish. Keeps going off randomly. It’s in the hallway, not in the kitchen or bathroom. Lots of other reviewers make the same point.

Easy to install land far less sensitive to steam from the shower or kitchen smoke than before
Without the base plate attached to the detector, my unit failed to produce a loud alarm for 3 seconds during the test.
After testing, my unit failed to transit to stand-by mode and kept beeping every 60 seconds.
