Products designed specifically for babies tend to go off after 20 minutes which dont work for us this plays much longer from an hour to constantly which is far better

The xsense sound machine helps mask my tinnitus to get a good nights sleep also during the day for relaxing with earheadphones or stand alone for a background ambient sound to distract from annoying eternal noise

It feels good quality has a good range of sounds but most importantly the sound quality is good and includes lower notes rather than being a horrible tinny sound like the cheap little thing we used to use

However if you dont want to use batteries it has a 5v input dc jack on the back quite a common plug
