So far they work great connected 6 together and tested after installed all 6 go off together so very happy with them so far
Easy to install and so far working well.
My house had old alarms that are hardwired but look ugly and are constantly beeping and requiring new backup batteries.
Our county recently came out with a fire code, all smoke detectors have to have a 10 year battery.

I had half of them pulled down but didn’t want to continue with the risk of not having functioning smoke detectors

I used very strong 2 way tape to put them over the holes where the old ones were wired
