Its hermetic i tried it by submerging it a couple of hours more time that indicated in the instructions and had no problems to stay dry another advantage is that it allows charge the phone with the wireless charger

When i bought it i thought that it would be made of plastic and not all the adjustable

The only draw back is the adhesive on the metal disc that attaches to the back of your device is not very strong
