It's the first xbox controller i've ever used that intermittently drops out. I really enjoy the modular design of some of the parts, i just wish the bumpers also came off easy.

This controller is an upgraded version of the previous model, the xbox elite series 1. It comes in the usual elite packaging. It depends if people would be okay with knowing it's the cheaper version, and owning it.

Cons

They intermittently work. Makes it feel like heavy input latency which is not a good experience. The elite series 2 is competitive in game but it won't last 40 hours without developing stick drift. The r1 button has errors, which ruins the gaming expe... Read More

Trying to get customer support is a endless maze and no help. It's a design issue that microsoft won't change or consider for repair.

It only registers a third of the time and the only sure fire way i can get it to register is to hold it for 2 seconds.

Price

With all that being said, the price is a little steep.

Right now in july 2024 red is $30 cheaper than the other colors, works for me!

Competitiveness

I mostly bought it for the color and price and you can use any paddles with it,as i use scuf branded paddles instead of the xbox branded.

Overall, very happy i went with it instead of a cheaper model.

I'm on my third controller, they last about 6 months but work better than any other controller i've tried while they're working.

You can also change the controller settings a button tensions in the xbox menu.
