Quick booting and runs smooth. Uses energy saver power off option and startup takes about 25 seconds. Set up via the xbox phone app is very quick.
Cons
Microsoft seem to think that 1tb is a fantastic amount of memory, thus only having 1tb cards as upgrades. Seen little upgrade from the series s to be honest. Deals available on digital games on ms store are awful compared to ps.
Tried other batteries and battery packs but is dead as a dodo. That’s not including loosing all my fifa 22 save games. Had a few glitches this evening where by the console wouldn't turn off.

For the price you’re paying, it should be 2tb minimal.

But the real surprise was the ssd load times which finally made loading really quick and fast travel in games finally fast.
Packaging/appearance
After fiddling with the annoying sticky tabs that restick themselves after peeling, managed to get to the beasty contents.
As an aside i found it easier to transfer the games from the s to the x using the nvme card rather than the local network option.
Competitiveness
Bought this for my wifes xmas present she loves it works great came well packaged
It's able to run at 4k@60fps which is amazing for some games like farcry 6, fortnite, cyberpunk 2077, etc.
Storage wise i use a 1tb nvme card and a 1tb usb drive and still have to delete games when i want to download new games.

I as an adult male have small hands but even so the ergonomics of this new smaller controller was after a short period of time painfull to use

Internal storage is in my view small at 1tb and will fill up very quickly
