Gamestop was out of the xbox controllers completely and this became my only option

I purchased this to remotestream games from my xbox to my macbook air m1 but noticed that the buttons abxy didnt seem to be mapped correctly

After completing the update im able to pair it with my m1 over bluetooth but its not recognized by onecast or the game controller tester app both show now device connected

I tried connecting via usb but the same problem neither application recognize the controller

I disconnected the controller and tried it on my win10 pc and xbox and its recognized and works with no issues so it seems to be a compatibility issue between the new xbox series controllers and mac os big sur
