Having read various reviews for this product and being wary of damaging my camera i hunted out videos online to see how it was done and decided that i had nothing to lose as my sensor was filthy caused by a combination of dust and then humid conditions which made it stick badly i have a mirrorless camera

If it didnt work out then i would still have to send it off to be cleaned anyway so i decided to go ahead and buy this kit

After picking a sticky speck of dust from the sensor with a dust grabber a double pass with a moistened swab seems to have done the trick

You can even use it on apsc sensors in addition to the ff if you swab vertically and not horizontally it passes over the whole apsc surface

That seems particularly important for the a7 which has no sensor cover as youd typically find with a dslr and thus is prone to getting dirt on the sensor whenever i travel

Firstly manual sensor cleaning is a risky business and only attempt to do this yourself if you are fully confident of the process
