I am using it with the following gearsennheiser hd 820 sony mdr z1r headphonessony ta zh1es dacsony ss g7 speakersdenon pm sa1i have very expensive gear so i dont use cheap components of any kind this is by far the cheapest component that i have most of my cables are more expensive even

Depends on the style i might prefer solid state electronic music for instance but for vocals and jazz i prefer the colouring of the ta26s
