The mysteries behind the world and the addicting gameplay. The game keeps revealing new features that make the game better. If you're getting this game, it's time you get a pro controller and play it on your tv.

The romance, the story, the character development. It also creates some new lows for the series. By default it's far better than xenoblade x's story simply by existing. I thoroughly enjoy opening random cores in hopes of getting those rare blades.

Cons

The gameplay is okay, but the biggest ding is how bad it looks undocked. The voice acting and sync is completely atrocious. Level grinding is horribly slow, and you have to grind.

It's not a big deal since i enjoy the exploration aspect anyway, but i know for many this will be off-putting.

Needless to say, by default it's far better than xenoblade x's story simply by existing.

In my (correct) opinion, it's also overwhelmingly superior to xenoblade x in every category.

- its story is a lot more "vanilla" and predictable compared to xenoblade 1, but that's almost an unfair comparison to make.
