This phone has the same msrp as the galaxy s21 ultra and the iphone 12 pro max. This phone is the most underrated and impressive on the market. It's a true flagship phone for people that appreciate good design.
Sony xperia 1 iii is a flagship phone for advanced users. Android is near stock, but a raft of sony improvements are available. Dual sim and microsd card all in one setup. Sony is currently the underdog in the android mobile market.

Since they were pretty awful quality and have watched them evolve.
Another issue with the tall/narrow profile is the keyboard is narrower.

Also noted the peel-n-stick screen protector for shipping was aligned crooked, which i think further implies i was sent an open-box item.

I tested t-mobile and verizon and the phone shows 5g on both, although t-mobile has fast data speeds in my area.

It is mind boggling that sony cant even do this this phone pretty much cant do 5g on att and its missing band 25 on tmobile and when compared to samsung apple or even google phones its simply lagg behind in internet data speed by a large margin

Yes apple doesnt have a hardware issue with processor and is at least 2 generation ahead although by the time of this writing qualcomm has caught up with its snapdragon 8 gen 2 made by tsmc thank god

Try avoiding any snapdragon 888 or snapdragon 8 gen 1 chip made by samsung foundry it is garbage
