Only gave it four stars for two reasons the black plastic half ring on the bottom broke off easily when i opened it up to see how the lantern would hang and 2 its a bit of a tug to pull the light open though easy to close

Cons1 while i dont get the sense that this is a cheap feeling lantern it definitely does not belong in the well built category either

The lack of different power modes means that even if you were to adjust the accordion for light output you cant increase your battery life by doing so

Wanted a green one for someone who loves all things green but xtreme bright doesnt come in green

Unfortunately right out of the box the competitors accordion style lantern snapped off of one end and there is no way to get them back on
