This is an enormous bag of xylitol, though it still seems pricey for a 1:1 substitute. It is more clumpy and hard to work with compared to others but worth it. Xylitol also boasts an impressive list of uses beyond cooking and baking.
It mixes very easily into things and it doesn't have any residual taste. It measures the same as sugar and taste good in drinks, baked goods, and my homemade chocolate candy. I like the flavor and the size of the container means it will last a while.
They say to use one rounded scoop. The nutritional information is also for a scoop. There might be a scoop in bottom of bag, though.

Dogs cats birds rodents etc but specifically more to dogs as they are more prone to the effects and are infamous for stealing treats off countertops plates tables

So for me i just would not use or bring this product into my home if i had a dog as dogs are much more likely to sneak a treat or drink a beverage with xylitol used in it it will kill the dog by plummeting the dogs blood sugar and destroying its liver

It is by all means a veterinarian emergency if a dog ingests any xylitol with observable symptoms that may take 12 hours to manifest such as vomiting weakness staggering collapse and seizures followed by coma and death

Its certainly a risk to cats but cats are highly unlikely to eat sweetened foods or beverages like dogs do
