Pros & Cons
Pros
When purchasing a frame, this has everything i look for at a much better price than most brands. The only issue is that a gust of wind still flipped my canopy in 17mph winds and broke one side of the canopy. The frame is very sturdy.
Wheeled bag is much appreciated when lugging across a field or parking lot. And it's quite a bit heavier. Only criticism from me is that the bag could be a little larger which would make packing it back up much easier.
Cons
Yaheetech will not provide a replacement or refund. They insist on my paying for the return shipping. Now they want me to pay the freight to return. They used an incorrect weight estimate.
The cover was sewn too tight and more than one person is needed to set it up. Every seam leaks like a sieve. Rainwater collects on top.
Several small but important pieces are rapidly being consumed by rust. The bottom of the legs the plastic already looks used some of the screws rusted too. Defective frame possibly, cheap material construction most probably.
Highlights
Quality
The sand bags work well, the adjuster hardware on the uprights are easy to use and feel durable.
Sturdy, not too heavy, and quick to set up and take down.
The material has held up to strong winds and rain, even hail.
Kind of a shame that what is otherwise a really quality product comes with crappy storage, especially because storage isn't an ... Read More
Price
You cant beat them for the price.
You can spend more or you can spend less, but these tents suit our needs just fine.
I've owned a lot of cheap wal-mart and harbor freight pop ups that go for about $100, and they all eventually break.
Its not always the price that determines the quality!
Shipping
One arrived with shipping damage and they took care of it right away.
Packaging/appearance
Putting the canopy away is an exceptionally frustrating experience, it only fits back in the bag if everything is packed perfectly.
Only criticism from me is that the bag could be a little larger which would make packing it back up much easier.
Competitiveness
After the purchase and seeing a lot of other options in person and comparing it to this one, this was the right choice.
No complaints a lot better than many other tents i've purchased
They're way better than any of the other brands i've tried.
Conclusion: overall, the yaheetech 10x10 pop up canopy tent is a great choice for casual and occasional outdoor use.
