Pros & Cons
Pros
It looks a lot like an mvp blackhole pro, but there are some differences. Have had it about 1 month and no real complaints. Happy with my purchase.
Nice rubbery paint on the whole thing also helps not scratch up the discs. No biggie though, and surely would happen soon enough with regular use. The basket has a nice powder coat of black with no logos so stickers could be applied if wanted (it also... Read More
The basket is of decent enough quality for any beginner or any one looking to have some fun at their next bbq. Great for that essential practicing every disc golfer needs. Best enjoyed with a 6 pack.
Not a big deal except the prongs to attach the chains all sit at a 90 degree angle straight up so you often get chains coming unhooked. Used part of the packaging to quite the chains for indoor use.
Highlights
Quality
He's a very picky engineer and he is very happy with the quality of these reasonably priced baskets.
I was super impressed with the quality of this basket for the price!
The height of it, the color, the quality in material and how it's portable.
As i opened up the bag of chains, i was surprised and initially disappointed with the feel/weight of them.
Price
Here is why its price is what it is.
You won't find that price anywhere else.
Shipping
It came in a large box, but set up was quick and we were playing frisbee golf in no time!
Pretty much put it together as fast as i could get it out of the box.
Packaging/appearance
The basket came quickly with packaging adequate to protect all the components.
However, the basket and corresponding parts were nicely wrapped and protected, but easily extricated from their packaging.
Competitiveness
We are considering buying another one so we can take them to the park and have some friendly competition.
This basket offers heavy-duty metal on the chains and frame.
Pdga spec: it’s not pdga-approved, but it’s built to spec, so it’s going to be on par with a name-brand, approved basket.
- overall i'd say its a good buy for the price.
