Pros
The update by hasbro is a lot faster. It's a handheld game device and works great, not sure what people are expecting? Instructions are on machine, which is helpful.
Cons
The screen is much smaller than original, alot lighter in weight and the screen is too dark. The * are cheap and too small. The biggest complaint is that there is no backlight in the game. Works ok shuts it self off in middle of game sometimes.

Unfortunately the background on my new one is red so the black indicator is not clear
