The locking devise at open position is robust,,a good thing when lookg to buy
If you happen to get some play in it just tighten the mechanism up and you're back on the road.

The product was a little more than i wanted to pay but it was going to be delivered the next day , it and it was not !
Not happy at all with the delivery!

I was afraid that it may not be solid enough or would have too much play because of it being 2 pieces with a hing and hanging out the back of my van
