Pros

Built sturdy, certainly not flimsy. If you are looking for a great rack, this is the one to get your hands on & it accommodates a wide variety of bike sizes.

No biggie, but an inconvenience still. It is important to not have the rack rest on the bumper once loaded with bikes in order to avoid denting the bumper. It’s a good rack, rode with 2 bikes at highway speeds with no issues.

This rack is quite beefy and looks really well made. Super sleek looking, easy to load your bike, security lock, much cheaper than similarly featured racks.

Cons

The clamp that supposed to attach to the seat post leaves no room to apply the clamp unless you finagle the bike back in forth while pushing it into place. The bottom pads that brace against your car’s body are small and hard. Inspite of the website s... Read More

I think i'll get the king joe instead as it seems to have a foam pad on the bottom feet instead of this hard rubber. The rack's core flaw is that it locks up.

Quality

I would recommend this rack - very sturdy

Bikes mounted very stable, no issues with the spoiler when properly set up.

Well, after many years, the twisting mechanism stopped turning and now it’s jammed in a position that isn’t meant for my car and useless.

Settings are obvious and when the arms are locked into place and the rack is tightened up, there is no movement whatsoever.

Price

It carried one men”s and one woman's bike, and the woman's bike had an inexpensive crossbar installed which was necessary in my case.

If that happens i will look into going to u-haul and having a hitch and bike reck installed that might cost over $1,000.

This was available from the local home depot for ~15$, so it wasn't a deal-breaker.

And i would rather buy if i need than paying for parts i dont need.

Packaging/appearance

The only thing not in the box was the tie down for the front fork.

Competitiveness

I contacted yakima and they gave me a 40% coupon, but even with the coupon, it was more expensive than here on amazon.
