Pros

Fits great on my tacoma. Worked great for my 2019 ram 2500. Fits perfect on my colorado. Works great in my toyota.

The yakima gatekeeper tailgate pad is easy to install. It holds bikes securely with straps. I love how it looks, the setup is easy and the bikes are very secure.

The fabric on the underside is soft so your truck won’t get scratched. The straps to hold your bikes in place are great and the soft lining that protects your trucks paint does its job.

Bikes are held securely with the velcro attachments. Holds bike securely. Also, i wish there was a velcro strap to hold the tailgate release handle flap open.

Better than a conventional hitch rack. Carries my hardtails or my dualies with no issues. Five mountain bikes are a bit crowded in the small bed pickup. Makes loading my stumpjumper easier than a hitch mounted rack.

Cons

The velcro on this pad is sewn in place and therefore not replaceable. After using one of the 5 cradles one time, the velcro strap no longer holds itself closed and popped open during a trip, causing my bike to fall over during transit. Look for a pad... Read More
