I would imagine that over time the rubber will weaken but i have only had the rack for a month so i am not sure

I also used painters tape to cover the edges where the clips contact the car and did not see any scratches from the metal clips

These are the plastic pieces that contact and hold the bike frame in place

These supports are able to move up and down the arms of the bike rack and sometimes the bikes will end up at different angles than what you put them on at

I have a 2009 corolla s with spoiler and the curved arms when attached look as if it was designed for spoilers in mind

I like how it rests against the glass and license plates on both cars so that it doesnt ruin the paint
