I wouldnt suggest leaving with your bike unattended as it doesnt protect the seat post and what not but no one will be taking your bike

I like the other one waaay better as the one shown in the amazon picture can be taken off even if locked by simply twisting the clamp then the round thing at the end will unscrew

They keep the bikes firmly in place and you have that additional comfort in knowing that someone would have to be really dedicated to try and steal your bike and most bike thieves would just move on

This is caused by either the design or the leverage point it puts on the rail
