Pros & Cons
Pros
For anyone wondering, the sunroof works fine on an audi avant wagon with the rail bars, although its close. The fit is perfect and the brushed aluminum bars blend very well with the light silver color of my sorento. There was no factory option for the... Read More
The bars fit very solidly and are a sight to behold. The locking cover that hides the fastener provides the necessary security for such and expensive system.
They mount between the factory rails, so they're narrower than most cross bars. When torquing down the allen bolts, the correct spec is important (5 nm) the bar is very secure, that they will support the the ski racks and skis.
Nearly silent, easy to install, and look great with the silver racks. No noticeable wind noise. Didnot add any noise to the car at all.
These look nicer than kia's factory crossbars. Lots of sketchy roof bars on amazon for the $100 price point. Just as good as the $400 thule and yakima bars.
Cons
All allroads come with a sunroof, but with the bars on you can no longer open the sunro of. The locking mechanism is a terrible design. To remedy this, you have to back off on the tightening bolt for the lock-catch to work, but then the crossbars are ... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Great fit, it is easy to install, adjust and remove.
Extremely well made with a long guarantee.
Even having backed off to the specified torque, it is still extremely difficult to get the covers to lock on.
Scratches on the mounting bases and key lock indicate it was a returned product.
Price

My only complaint would be the cost of these crossbars, coupled the rarity of sale prices on them.
Shipping
Just received the most excellent customer service experience in long time from john h.
They arrived very quickly and installation on my '10 gmc acadia's factory roof rails was a breeze!
Arrived past due day, the fault of fedex as package sat less than 3miles from home for over 4 days before being sent out for delivery.
Packaging/appearance
Very attractive on my 2013 explorer with factory side rails.
Also, although my package appeared unopened, i noticed that one of my bars was lacking the little flip up mechanism to lock one... Read More
He was expecting problems because the box was so banged up.
Competitiveness
Took the car for a test drive and the roof rack lives up to its branding as it was silent whilst driving at speed.
Lots of sketchy roof bars on amazon for the $100 price point, but for less than double the price, this seems to be just as good... Read More
Even though it says they won't fit, you can actually fit the s56 model onto a ford flex (pretty much any model year from 2009-2... Read More
Specifically the rail bars maintain a much lower profile than other systems on the market.
