Pros & Cons
Pros

These are a poorly designed set of burned and stamped yaktrax. The pad of the stud is too small, and breaks through the back of the plastic plate it is molded into. The ad under amazon states the spike plates are replaceable.
The toe grip is out. Also stitching around toe straps already wearing.
This rubber has a bad smell to it and is priced 4 times, if not more, than competitors. Not durable. The coil portion is less than desirable.

My distances were shortened because i had to listen to my body and did lots of inclines, not because the product was unreliable in any way.
Price
Without replacement plates, these are not worth the $45 considering how long they lasted for me.
Competitiveness
I have owned other "generic" brands of yaktrax and have always been disappointed at how they move when i run!
For comparison, icebug pythos outperform these by a good measure, but are 4x the price.
