Pros

They roll up tightly for storage but they need an occasional rinse in fresh water to keep them from gumming-up. They are easy to put on securely and to take off. They have a slight rocker making it easier to walk when wearing.

Only downside is it’s more gear to carry while skiing, unless you have access to a locker.

It provides both traction and cushioning. These give you the traction to walk across slippery pavement that ski boots lack.

Year round ski instructor loves these. They've held up very well over two ski seasons so far with minimal wear and tear. Very happy with this purchase.

Cons

Boot sole protectors will protect boot soles, but practicality is limited. I agree with other reviewers that they are too bulky to carry around once taken off.

Quality

Stayed well with the boots while walking and no sign of deterioration after the season.

I have new pair ski boots, these protected the soles of my boots and made it very easy to walk with the rocker bottom design.

The root cause: very poor sizing of the product.

My ski boot is at the top end of a size small, so the product barely fits after being significantly stretched.

Price

My price was discounted but they failed to mention that was the reason.

However, that is the price i have chosen to pay to protect my boots, safety, and comfort.

Packaging/appearance

In fact, it was really cool today to slip on the yaktrax and then find i could just stomp the heel in place - no lifting required.

These included a nice nylon bag that keeps the dirt/water off the other stuff in your ski pack.

They finally wore out, somewhat due to a design defect in the toepiece.

Competitiveness

These boot tracks perform head & shoulders above the competition.

Took these yaktrax boot protectors skiing about 6 times this past winter.

I bought these and the seirus brand competitor.

So i decided to try these yaktrax instead, as they looked a little more robust.
