The old one had a key fob and we could lock and unlock from the car but it finally went bad and could not get any parts

Keep in mind that if you want remote control on this lock you must also purchase an electronic module separately

There are two types available zwave and wifi

The zwave is the lowest cost and works with our universal devices home automation system which ties in to google assistant

There is ample tech support available but i did not need to contact them
