I am not sure if it was me or this lock but i did have to call a locksmith to finish the install as it just wasnt fitting quite right

The lock connects with the amazon key app and allows the user to generate unique codes for individuals you want to access your home

You can delete the code any time and you can make the code whatever number you want it to be for them

The pad is black unless a hand is waved over it and then the keypad lights up

To lock just wave your hand over the keypad

You can unlock the door remotely if you dont want to give the code to someone or give a code to someone and then delete it after

Also the app sends alerts every time the pad is used and it tells you who used the code and what exact time they used it
