The yale product is generally well made. The * are sturdier and the mechanism is smoother.
It is very easy to program and delete numbers, but not so easy that i have memorized it. I do it infrequently enough that i need to pull out the directions every time.
Handyman app is great for locking and unlocking doors. Only drawback is that you need to enter codes to change the factory default settings.
Cons
It looks good and works as a standalone lock, but the zwave does not work with any hub. Att has discontinued the service with this module. Also was not thrilled to get a gold lock instead of nickel.

For $30 (current woot deal) to $37, this is a very good deal.
This lock was a remarkable bargain, and my home automation software had no problem finding and using the lock.

The previous lock had a touch screen and it was always a problem because you almost always have your hands full when you try to unlock the door and i would miss without the physical buttons

The paperwork doesnt make it super clear but there is a network inclusion setting which you need to toggle on the lock when prompted by the smartthings application

You need to set a master passkey before you can set up the zwave functions and alternate passkeys
